A Long Weekend in Eilat in a Vacation Apartment: A Three-Day Plan Without Wasting a Minute
Thursday, 2:40 PM. The road to Eilat is running out, and the red mountains are already behind your window. You have three nights, and the real question is how not to waste them on confusion, queues and arguments of "so, what are we doing now?".
In short: A long weekend in Eilat works best when you split it into three days with different rhythms: a relaxed arrival day, a full beach day, and a nature or trip day. In a vacation apartment you control the hours, the food and the pace, and our apartments are in the area behind the Club Hotel, a 5 to 10 minute walk from the promenade and the mall by the sea.

Why three days is exactly the right number
One day is too short for an escape, and a full week demands planning. Three days give you enough time to reset, without feeling that you have to tick off every attraction in town.
The secret is not to cram. Pick one big thing for each day, and leave the rest for flexibility, sleep and morning coffee.
What an apartment gives a short weekend
Control over your hours: Breakfast at 8:00 or at 10:30, and nobody closes the buffet on you.
A kitchenette: A fridge, stovetop or hot plate, kettle, microwave and dishes. Enough for a relaxed morning and snacks for the beach.
Air conditioning and Wi-Fi: Real rest at midday, when the Eilat sun is at its peak.
Linens and towels: Less to pack, more room for swimsuits.
The plan: three days, three rhythms
This is a basic plan. You can swap the days, and it suits families, couples and groups of friends.
Day 1, arrival (from 3:00 PM): Check-in is from 3:00 PM. On the morning of your arrival we send you a personal door code, so there is no need to wait for anyone. Drop the bags, turn on the AC, and walk to the promenade for sunset and a light dinner.
Day 2, beach day: Head to the sea early, while the beach is still quiet. If you like snorkeling, consider the Coral Beach reserve, a well-known spot in Eilat. Come back to the apartment for a rest at midday, and return to the promenade in the evening.
Day 3, nature or a trip: A morning in the Eilat Mountains or a short trip in the area, followed by a good meal. Finish packing at an easy pace.
Day 4, departure: Check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you need a late check-out, it is possible only subject to availability and for an extra fee, so it is best to ask in advance.

Local tip: On your beach day, start early and return to the apartment at midday. The hours between 12:00 and 3:00 PM are the hottest and busiest, and air conditioning and a shower are a real upgrade.
Food without the headache
On a short weekend there is no point in planning every meal. Here is a split that works for most people:
Breakfast at the apartment: Eggs, salad, bread and coffee. It saves time and leaves budget for the evenings.
A light lunch: Sandwiches and fruit in a beach bag.
Dinner out: A restaurant or bar on the promenade, with one treat you look forward to all day.
Want ideas? We gathered places to eat and drink in the area on our Eat & Drink page. And if you are planning around a show or a festival, it is worth a look at events in Eilat.
Save money: Don't buy everything on the promenade. Buying water, fruit and snacks at the supermarket before your beach day saves a lot, and the fridge in the apartment does the job.
How the plan changes for your group
Families with kids
Move the day earlier: the sea in the morning, rest at midday and a short evening. If you have a baby, you can request a crib for an extra fee, subject to availability, so it is best to arrange it in advance.
Couples
You can start the morning late and leave the evenings open. Walking to the promenade means you can have a glass of wine without worrying about a ride home.
Friends
Split the day into two parts: a shared activity in the morning and free time in the afternoon. That way everyone gets what they need. You can see which apartments fit your group on the apartments page.
A short checklist before you go
Make sure your phone is charged and save our number, 08-6338361, in case you need it.
Please note: the apartments are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed only on the balcony or terrace, where available, and no barbecuing is allowed at the apartments.
Bring water shoes and sunscreen, even in winter.
Give each day just one goal, and the rest will sort itself out.

Frequently asked questions
What time can I enter the apartment and when do I need to leave?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out is possible only subject to availability and for a fee.
What do I do if the door code doesn't work?
The personal code is sent on the morning of your arrival day. If it fails twice, call or send a WhatsApp message to 08-6338361.
Do I need a car in Eilat on a short weekend?
Not necessarily. The apartments are a 5 to 10 minute walk from the promenade and the mall by the sea, so you can get around on foot most of the time. For trips outside the city, it is best to arrange transportation separately.
Can I cook in the apartment?
There is a kitchenette with a fridge, stovetop or hot plate, kettle, microwave and dishes. It suits simple meals, but barbecuing is not allowed at the apartments. More details in our FAQ.
