November 2026: jazz, bridge and a desert marathon
Red Sea Jazz Festival, 40th edition | 11–14 November 2026 | Eilat Port. Four days of concerts on several stages with jazz artists from Israel and around the world. Official site: redseajazz.co.il
Red Sea International Bridge Festival | 12–22 November 2026 | Royal Beach Eilat hotel. One of the largest bridge festivals in the region, with tournaments for every level. Official site: bridgeredsea.com
Eilat Desert Marathon | Friday, 27 November 2026. 5 km, 10 km, half marathon and full marathon through the Eilat mountains. Official site: marathonisrael.co.il
Where to stay tip: from our apartments you walk to the promenade, and the port is a short ride away. Running? The kitchenette makes a quiet pre-race dinner easy.
December 2026: Hanukkah and year-end festivals
Hanukkah in Eilat | 4–12 December 2026. One of the busiest times in town: pleasant weather, a sea that is still good for swimming and attractions for the whole family. Book early.
Viva Festival (dance and music for women) | usually held in December (last edition: 11–13 December 2025). Official site: viva-music-dance.com
Eilat Piano Festival | usually held around New Year's (last edition: 1–3 January 2026). Official site: pianofestival.co.il
Where to stay tip: coming with friends? An apartment with a sofa bed gives everyone their own space, and the kitchenette saves on eating out.
January 2027: Challenge Israman
Challenge Israman Eilat | race day: Friday, 29 January 2027 (race weekend: 27–30 January). An international full and half-distance triathlon: a swim in the gulf, a bike leg in the Eilat mountains and a run along the promenade. Official site: israman.co.il
Where to stay tip: athletes need quiet for an early night and a kitchenette for meals before and after the race. Book early, race weekend fills up fast.
February–March 2027: chamber music, jazz and birds
Eilat Chamber Music Festival, 20th edition | February 2027 (exact dates to be published on the official website). Concerts by artists from Israel and abroad. Official site: eilat-festival.co.il
Red Sea Jazz, winter edition | in recent years there has also been a jazz weekend in February (2026: 19–21 February). Check the official website for a 2027 edition. Official site: redseajazz.co.il
Eilat Bird Festival | usually in late March, at the peak of the spring migration (2026: 22–26 March). Birding tours, talks and nature trips. Official site: natureisrael.org
Where to stay tip: February and March are among the most pleasant months in Eilat. A festival plus 3-4 nights of sea and sun is a great combination.
All year: the beer festival and how to plan around an event
Red Sea Beer Festival | usually held during the intermediate days of Sukkot. In 2027 Sukkot falls in mid-October; dates are announced closer to the event.
