Eilat Vacation Apartments for Families: What to Check Before Booking
In short: Before you book Eilat vacation apartments for families, check how many guests the apartment really sleeps, whether there is a separate bedroom, a kitchenette, air conditioning, parking and the walking distance to the beach. City Apartments Eilat has six family apartments for up to 5 guests, a 5-10 minute walk from the promenade.
It is eight in the evening, the little one has fallen asleep on the sofa and you want a quiet cup of tea. In an apartment with a separate bedroom and a living area, that is simply possible.
What should you check before booking Eilat vacation apartments for families?
Here is a short checklist. Go through it before you pay.
Number of guests: Check the maximum number of guests, not just the number of beds. Count babies too.
Separate bedroom: With young children, it is the difference between a relaxed evening and one where everyone sits quietly in the dark.
Kitchenette: A fridge, hob or hot plate, kettle, microwave and cookware save you a lot of meals out.
Air conditioning: In Eilat this is not a luxury. Make sure the apartment has an A/C unit.
Parking: Is parking free, and is it close to the entrance?
Distance to the beach and promenade: Ask how many minutes on foot, not just how many kilometers.
Baby extras: For example a baby cot, and whether it is subject to availability.
Accessibility: Elevators and wheelchair access vary from building to building. Ask before you book.
Local tip: Message the team before booking and mention your children's ages. You will get a recommendation for a suitable apartment instead of guessing from photos.

Which vacation apartments in Eilat suit families?
The apartments that suit families are the ones with a separate bedroom and living room and room for up to 5 guests. With us, that means six apartments: #2, #3, #7, #8, #9 and #15. All of them have a kitchenette, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, linens and towels.
One-bedroom apartment #2: 28 sqm, up to 5 guests, 6 Tsofit Street.
One-bedroom apartment #3: 33 sqm, up to 5 guests, 6 Tsofit Street.
Garden Suite #7: approx. 37 sqm, up to 5 guests, private garden for suite guests only, 23 Neviot Street.
Garden Suite #8: approx. 32 sqm, up to 5 guests, private garden, 23 Neviot Street.
Suite #9: 32 sqm, bedroom and living room, up to 5 guests, 23 Neviot Street.
Palmore Suite #15: approx. 60 sqm, up to 5 guests, huge balcony, 3 Topaz Street. The Palmore complex has a pool, a gym and a lobby with 24/7 reception. None of our other apartments has a pool.
A small family can also consider a studio. Studio #1 (approx. 18 sqm, up to 4, Tsofit 6, no balcony) and Balcony Studio #11 (22 sqm, up to 4, large balcony with a city view) suit a couple with two children. Balcony Studio #10 (16 sqm) suits up to 3.
A big family: several apartments in the same place
If there are more than five of you, you can book several nearby apartments. At Neviot 23 there are five apartments: #7, #8, #9, #10 and #11. At Tsofit 6 there are three: #1, #2 and #3.
That way grandma, the aunts and uncles and the kids all stay close, and each family has its own door. Booking is done through the booking page, and if you need help coordinating dates, the team is available by phone.
Why City Apartments Eilat works for families
City Apartments Eilat has been operating since 2013, and we have more than 4,500 guest reviews across all our properties. Here are the facts that matter to parents:
Location: The hotel area in central Eilat, behind the Club Hotel. A 5-10 minute walk to the promenade, the North Beach and the mall by the sea.
Parking: Free public parking near the entrance. At Neviot 23 there is also free private parking, subject to availability.
Self check-in: A personal code is sent on the morning of arrival. Entry from 3:00 PM.
Cleaning: Housekeeping every Wednesday during a continuous stay.
Luggage: At Neviot there is a dedicated luggage room. At the Tsofit complex you can leave luggage in the corridor, which has a security camera.
What we do not have, to be honest: none of our apartments has a sea view or is on the waterfront. These are city apartments, within walking distance of the sea.

Eilat vacation apartments with kids: what matters inside the apartment
With kids, the kitchenette is half the vacation. You can make breakfast, warm food for a baby and keep ice and fruit in the fridge. Palmore Suite #15 also has an oven and an induction hob.
Looking for ideas for simple meals? We have a guide to cooking in a kitchenette. And not every meal has to be at home, so there is also a restaurant guide for every budget.
A balcony or garden is a bonus, not a must. Balconies exist only in apartments #10, #11 and #15, and a private garden only in #7 and #8. With toddlers, check the balcony at the entrance and decide whether it works for you.
Baby cot in Eilat
A baby cot is available with us as a paid extra, subject to availability. It is best to request it when you book, through the baby cot page. Do not leave it until you arrive, because the quantity is limited.
Local tip: If your children are small, ask for an apartment on a floor that is easy to reach with a stroller and ask about an elevator. It varies between buildings, and we will answer you before you book.
How far is the walk to the beach, and what about the heat?
From the apartments, the promenade and the North Beach are a 5-10 minute walk. With young children that is convenient, especially if you head out in the morning and the late afternoon. During the hot midday hours in summer, it is best to go back to the A/C and rest.
Check the Eilat weather forecast before you plan your day. On a hot day, a rest hour in the apartment saves the rest of the day.
